and Council member, Wesley Bolch, named Fellow of both the Health Physics Society and American Association of Physicists in Medicine

Dr. George Xu, Council member since 2008, has recently been appointed to lead the Nuclear Engineering Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, one of the largest, most established nuclear engineering programs in the Nation

Dr. John Boice presented the 4th Dade W. Moeller Lecture entitled NCRP and International Consistency in Radiation Protection Standards at the Health Physics Society 57th Annual Meeting in Sacramento

Dr. David Schauer was an invited speaker at the Workshop on European Population Doses from Medical Exposure. The Workshop was sponsored by the European Commission and hosted by the Greek Atomic Energy Commission in Athens, Greece


New President, Executive Director, & Members Elected

Fred A. Mettler, Jr. gave the ninth Warren K. Sinclair Keynote Address at the 2012 Annual Meeting. The Address, entitled Childhood Exposure: An Issue from Computed Tomography Scans to Fukushima

NCRP presentations to the ICRP Symposium on the International System of Radiological Protection:

Dr. David Schauer, lectured in the 30th International Dosimetry Symposium in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
